Definitely Winter

Realized this afternoon that we still have two-thirds of winter left to go.  How depressing is THAT?  Fortunately it was a mild and sunny day so Mark and I took a long drive together stopping occasionally for coffee and to roam through antique shops.  The brightness of the day helped me regain some perspective from the rather dreary few weeks I've had since Christmas.  I'm hoping to start this next week with new fervor; I want to get out more with Bryan and get back to a regular home-schooling routine.  Sara will be with us four days a week beginning in February, so I need to get better organized.  The solution of course is lists...I do very well with lots of structure and flounder aimlessly without it.  So why do I find myself in this position so often?  I should know better and have a well-oiled routine by now, right? Sigh.
